Three simple rules

What is Solsticio?

Solsticio is a logic puzzle played on a small grid. Every cell holds a sun or a moon, and three rules decide which goes where: never three of the same symbol in a row, an equal number of suns and moons in every line, and — on later boards — connectors that tie two neighbouring cells together as the same or as opposites.

There is nothing to guess. Every board has exactly one solution and a path of deductions that reaches it, so when you get stuck the answer is somewhere on the grid, never in a coin flip. The puzzle is also known as Takuzu, Binairo or Binary Puzzle; the sun-and-moon version is the one most people meet first.

One board a day, the same for everyone

The grid you see today is generated from the date itself, so it is identical for every player in every country — no accounts, no difficulty setting, no personalised feed. Play it in the browser or in the free Android app, which serves the same daily board and works offline. Earlier days do not disappear: each one keeps its own page, and the archive goes back to the very first.
